According to the Wall Street Journal, New York's designers proved far more popular among buyers than those in Milan (a 500% increase compared to 22% on average). The Wall Street of online fashion, Stylophane's Facebook Fashion Index, has the people's vote.

Here are this week's most popular designers showing during one of the four big fashion weeks and their growth rates.
